What being on the team actually involves.
No audition. No experience required. Pick an event, practice with the team, and compete when it fits your schedule.
01
You pick an event
New competitors try more than one before settling. Some want the research and the clash of debate; some want to perform. Changing your mind in the first season is normal.
02
You practice with the squad
Work happens in the weeks between tournaments: cases get written, rebuttals get drilled, speeches get cut down and timed. Older students coach younger ones.
03
You compete on weekends
Tournaments are mostly Saturdays, occasionally a full weekend with travel. You will not attend every one, and the schedule is set with the coach.
